Stephen McNamara, CPA/PFS founded this CPA firm in 2006. Before starting this firm, Stephen worked as a tax and audit manager, then later as a CFO of two health care companies. McNamara Financial Solutions LLC initially started to provide accounting services and litigation support for estates and trusts. It later expanded to provide CFO services and business planning for business owners.

Stephen is an Airline Transport rated commercial pilot with over forty years of flying experience ranging from large carriers to bush Alaska. He flew as a professional pilot until becoming a CPA and continues to be active in business and general aviation. He is a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants (AICPA) including the Personal Financial Planning and Tax divisions of the AICPA. He is also a member at large of the National Association of Estate Planning Council (NAEPC.)
